Charleswood’s newest community in decades celebrated its grand opening this past Friday to thank all those who have been involved in the process of creating RidgeWood West.
“We are proud of what we have started here and we look forward to working with all of you in making this neighbourhood what you expect it to be,” explains Eric Vogan, Vice President of Community Development for Qualico in Winnipeg.
Residents, builders, contractors, architects, engineers, Citizens for Charleswood Habitat Preservation, Friends of the Harte Trail, Charleswood Historical Society and many more involved in the planning and development were in attendance.
Marty Morantz, City Councillor for Charleswood, was also in attendance to welcome all those involved and to share his excitement for the opportunity the new development will bring for families to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Charleswood for many generations.
The community block party served up some delicious barbeque and sweet treats, while giving attendees the very first look at 11 premium or custom show homes the Fall 2016 Parade of Homes.
