The holidays are all about spending time with your friends and family. It’s when our dark winter nights are transformed into a winter wonderland with colourful lights, cheerful music and plenty of festivities – no wonder it’s called the most wonderful time of the year!
Make the most of this holiday season by visiting these nearby activities:
Holidays at the zoo

Immerse yourself in a magically lit polar town until January 5, at Assiniboine Park Zoo. Zoo Lights Festival is presented by Red River Co-op; enjoy dazzling light displays, music, art, culture and community.
Easton’s fairytale vignettes
Visit the Children’s Museum until January 6, to view 15 fairytale vignettes that have been restored and open to the public for a limited time! Classics include Cinderella, Three Blind Mice, Humpty Dumpty and much more!
The Office Christmas trivia
Get ready to test your knowledge about The Office on December 4, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Hosted by The Canadian Brewhouse, there will be 50 questions and five rounds of The Office trivia based on the Christmas episodes of the show. There will be hundreds of dollars in prizes for the top three teams and door prizes to be won throughout the night.
