RidgeWood West residents are only a short 10 minute drive from the wonderful Assiniboine Park Zoo. Not only is the Zoo a great attraction for families and friends to visit, they also offer Day Camps for in-service days, Spring Break, and weekly camps throughout the summer!
Offered to children between Grades 1 and 6, the Zoo Camp offers various animal themed programming. The upcoming Spring Camp is on from March 29 to April 1. Kids can attend the full 4-day week, or single days. Themes include Polar Plunge, Into the Jungle, and Wild Art.
Summer Camps are offered for nine weeks throughout July and August, and alternate between two theme weeks, Fantastic Beasts and Wild Survivors.
In-Service Day Camps are listed on the Assiniboine Park Zoo's website and are added throughout the school year.
