The brand new development in Charleswood that everyone has been talking about finally made its debut during the Fall Parade of Homes.

RidgeWood West opened their doors appropriately with a kick-off party that allowed longtime residents of Charleswood to take a first look at the new neighbourhood.

“We are proud of what we have started here and look forward to working with all of you in making this neighbourhood what you expect it to be,” explains Eric Vogan, Vice President of Qualico Communities.

As Charleswood remains one of Winnipeg’s most desired neighbourhoods to live in, potential buyers were jumping at the chance to build a brand new home in this treasured neighbourhood.

“People are really eager about building in the community they grew up in,” says Eric Vogan of Qualico Communities. “We could feel the excitement as people were touring around the show homes.”

Residents who have already moved into Phase 1 of RidgeWood West, have taken full advantage of the natural walking trails and close access to the Harte Trail.

“I bike to work every day and being right beside the trail, it’s the perfect place to start my day,” says Steve Strum who was one of the first residents to move into the community. “Quick access to the Harte Trail was a huge selling point for us,”.

With so much focus on nature and the outdoors in RidgeWood West, it’s clear why so many potential buyers walked through the show homes’ doors. According to Vogan, Qualico Communities has great confidence in what RidgeWood West will have to offer nature lovers. “The walking trails, naturalized wetlands and direct access to the Harte Trail are just the beginning.”

Although the Fall Parade of Homes is over, there are still regular show home hours for the homes and you can also contact any one of our builders to start talking about how you can building a life in RidgeWood West.
